About Us

Transdisciplinary Collaboration

Weaving experiences and knowledges of Indigenous and non-Indigenous researchers and practitioners

Our Story

Our transdisciplinary collaboration is built around three core teams: the Local Ecological Knowledge team (LEK), which is a diverse group of local experts involved in nature conservation in Switzerland, the Traditional Ecological Knowledge team (TEK), consisting of Indigenous stewardship specialists from the North American context, and the research team, a group of academics based in the Geography Department at the University of Zurich (UZH).
